Our story

How Mimos originated
In 2007, David and Yin, a couple of scientists, noticed that their three-month-old baby boy had an unusual head shape. As their son turned five months old, the flat shape of his head gradually worsened. Eventually, they decided to have their son wear an orthopedic helmet, which proved to be an exhausting and costly process. Unfortunately, the helmet didn't seem to provide relief as its removal was very distressing for their son. After wearing the helmet for just two months, their son developed dermatitis, skin rashes, and a painful skin with blisters. At that moment, they realized that there had to be a less distressing solution... and thus the idea for the Mimos pillow was born - a breathable and safe pillow recommended by doctors.
